Castle Village Farm’s 4-year-old NY-bred filly, Victory at Last, was snowed out when NYRA cancelled racing at Aqueduct on Saturday, Dec. 29th, but is entered right back in the 5th race on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1st, when she’ll be a new 5-year-old It’s a $15,000 claiming race, with a purse of $30,000, for fillies and mares that haven’t won in the past six months or have never won three races. This will be Victory at Last’s second start for CVF since we claimed her in October. Jose Ortiz rides for CVF trainer Bruce Brown.
