Castle Village Farm won its sewcond race in a row Friday, June 30th, when Mterology too the 1st at Belmont. That was just five days after CVF’s Bishop of Nola had won a Belmont allowance.

Under perfect handling by jockey David Cohen, Metrology took up his usual position at the back of the field, then started to move at thre three-eighths pole, breezed through the stretch and hit the wire perhaps three inches in front of the second-place horse. Great ride, and great work by CVF trainer Bruce Brown getting Metrology ready off a long layoff.
