Castle Village Farm’s three-year-old NY-bred gelding Bishop of Nola will try to become the first horse to win three races at this year’s Saratoga meet when he runs in Saturday’s 8th race.

Bishop of Nola won on July 29th, when we claimed him, then won again on August 14th, when we moved him up in class to a NY-bred N1X allowance. On Saturday, he’ll take another jump up, running in a NY-bred N2X allowance, at a mile and a sixteenth on the turf. John Velazquez will ride for trainer Bruce Brown.
